Hurricane in the Marshalls
GREAT LOSS OF PROPERTY. (Received Juh 25, 1.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 24. A private table message received a! Sydney states that a hurricane on June 30 devastated the Marshall islands. Beyond stacing tnat much damage was occasioned in the vicinity of Jalnit, and that it was reared, there was loss of life, no details were given. News from the northern portion of .the group were still wanting when the cable was despatched.
