CHARGE OF CATTLE STEALING.
GIRL, COMMITTED FOR TRIAL, (Per Press Association.) WOODVILLH, July 2rt. A young woman named Mat-i'Ma Mcbellan was charged lliis morning, at Hie S.M. CouiV, with cattle-stealing at Kumcroa. The girl, when arrested, said she hougltt, the cattle from a man on the road for 30s each, and drove Hum 1o l'aliialua, where site sold them for 50s each. Site withdrew the statement as to 'buying the cattle from a man, and pleaded guilty. She was committed for scntenre |lo the Suprriw Court at Wt'lliiMun and admitted to bail,
