The Increase of Pension.
SYDNEY PRESS COMMENT. SYDNEY, July 11. The HeraM, criticising Mr Soddon's proposal to increase the oldage pensions, says il is a direct appeal to the popular vote, and an attempt to purchase another term of office. If rejected, Mr Seddon will go to the country on a popular cry, which, as the Ministry no uoubt calculate, will insure another lease oi ! office.
