Suggested Imperial Council.
EVOLVED FROM THE CONFERENCE. (Received July 4, 10.35 p.m.) LONDON, July 4. The Council of the British Empire League, on the motion of the Hon. W. P. Reeves, seconded by Mr Cockburn, N,S. Wales commercial agent, expressed the hope that periodical Colonial Conferences will be accorded a permanent existence, becoming a Council oi the Empire, and suggested that India be represented.
