Dr. Torr's Mission.
Dr„ Torr, of South Australia, successfully iiiitiiatf'd his tela days' mission at the Whiteley Memorial Church on Sunday, the services attracting large congregations, despite the stormy weather. Dr. Torr took as Ms morning subject '"Soul. Winning," and in an able discourse showed • himself to bo an impressive andforeiblo speaker. In' the afteirnoon the visitor conducted a special service for young people, which was well attended. Dr. Torr showed great aptness in addressing himself to tho young people, doubtless secured by his experience as a successful school master and colleg,e principal. The church was well filled in the oMening. The Bermpn was basud upon the parable of the ten virgins; A largo proportion of the congregation, augmented by .fresh arrivals, attended the uffcer meeting flor counsel and instruction.
