Wall Falls Down.
SEVERAL, TEHSONa HURT.. (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, June 15. A startling occurrence took plaqe this afternoon. Owing no doubt to the brick work; being soaked Jby tao continuous rain, a large section of the front wall of a building being erected in one of the principal business thoroughfarea, Cuba Street, gavo way, several tons of Brickwork and scaffolding falling wlthl a-tremendous craßb on to th« street below. Ono onan, Bert Chandler, was carried from the top of the building a distance of 85 feet, and had a thigh broken, and sustained other injuries* A workman named Flanagan • was completely buried in the debris. m«t skull was fractured, and lie lies in a precarious condition. *
I Other persons were slightly injured and there wcra some extraordinary escapes. "
