PERSONAL NOTES.
A largely-signed petition was forvnrded from Blenheim to the head office ot the National Bank, asking that Air G. W. Mcintosh, the manag-/ rof the Blenhctiu (branch, should not be Transferred. The authorities, however, have decided that the transfer to Invercargill shall take effect*, Mr Mcintosh will uo succeeded by Mr Wolferstan.
Mr J. 1). Groig, manager of the Wanganui branch of the Bank of Australasia, has been appointed 'manager of the Auckland branch, vice Mr E. Turner;' who is rotining shortly on a pension.
