Cheese.,—No alteration to report. Horses have been brought forward) ' in full numpbrs. There was a largo number yarded at the Durham Y|ards on Friday. Prices showed no noteworthy improvement. Heavy draughts sold from £2B to £39,15s ; medium ditto, £2l to £32 5s ; light harness, £6 10s to £l9 15s ; hacks, £o 15s to £2O 12s 6d. A sulky, £lO 15s ; buggy, £l6Cattle.—At the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday dairy and store stock were penned in usuflJt numbers, and -sold at late rates. Beef was yarded in average quantities. Ox beef sold to 25s per 1001b ; cow beef, from 17s to 20s ; steers sold from £6 12s I6d to £ll 10s'; cows, £4 5s to £9; daifry cows, £4 10s to £8 15s ;j empty Cows, £1 lis to £3 4s ; calves, 15s to £2 13s. Tho of the beef was excellent, exppcially, a draft from the North. Sheep.—The Newmaiket Yards were well ailed with sheep on Tuesday,, and sheep advanced fully 2s per head on last week's quoth.t'iion. Wethers) sold from , 16s 6d to £1 7s !3d ; ewes; 14s 9d to £1 6» 9d ; lambs, well fatted, 10s 9d lo 19s 6d ; other sorts, 8s 6d to 12s ; most of ihe different averages were over £1 Is. . At Warkworth on Wednesday, notwithstanding the extremely bad weather, stock was- yarded in full numbers, and all sold at sli.ojhtly improved rates. Grown steers, £5 5s to £6 4s : two to three-year-okl ditto, £3 10s to £4 17s 6d ; yearlings, £1 10s to £2 4s ; calves, 18s to £1 7s, ;.,!d At Clovcdon on Monday there was a small muster of cattle, and fair yarding of sheep.
