CHRISTCHURCH HOTELS.
(fir Press Association-) CHHISTCHIRCH, June 1. An application for renewal of a hotel license in this city was adjourned by the Licensing Couuuiltu* at its annual meeting to-day, thy Chairman stating that if font nuance were carried at the next option: poll, the premises would have to be letniilt, and if reduction were carried' the committee would have lo consider whether tiie house in question was. in such a condition as; to, entitle it to remain. He added that the policy of the committee had resulted in Christchurch, being placed in the front rank in the colony .as regards hotel accommodation.
