Officers Released on Parole. TOGO PRAISED. EMPEROR THANKS THE NAVY. I BOZHDESTVENSKY'S WOUNDS. (Received June 1, 10.98 p.m. J LONDON, June 1. The sinking of the cruiser Jcmtchug is not confirmed. Her name in omitted from the latest official list. The battleships Orel and Nikolai went slightly damaged. During the battle two Russian hospital ships were captured and brought to Sasebo. It is suspected they were strategically participating in the fighting. Officers! ifrom the Orel and other vessels which surrendered have been released on parole. It is omcially reported in Tokio that Rear - Admiral Euguist was wounded. Uaron Yamamato, Japanese Minister for .Marine, in it message to Admiral Togo oilers congratulations and praises. The Emperor thankw the navy and expresses sympathy with the wounded and the friends of the killed. Admiral Ro/.hdestvensky is wounded in the forehead, legs, and back. The American Minister at Tokio cables that Admiral Kozhdestycnsky nasi placed, in the naval hospital ut Susebo, and that his skull is fractured, Tendering an o|icratlon necessary. His condition is described as serious, but not dangerous.
