A PROGRESSIVE PROPOSAL.
(Per Press Association.) CIIIUSTCHLUCir, June 1. The Major, Mr C. M. Gray, has given notice to move at the next meeting of the City Council for the appointment ot a committee to consider the advisnbleness or otherwise of the Council acquiring the Gas Company's property by purchase.
