Prices at the beginning worn firm at last week's rates, hut receded slightly towards the end. Best wethers 22s to 25s (id, one pen of extra, prime 26s Hd, good wethers 19s (>d to 21s, best ewes up to 225, a few pens of extra heavy 255, othcis 15s to 19s. Fat lambs. —490 ■were penned. Tho prices obtained were equal to last Ue.'k's rates. Best lambs lfis to' 17s 6d, others 13s to 15s. 'Pigs.—ll3 were yarded. There was a slump in suckers and slips.
