ADDRESSES HIS CONSTITUENTS (Per Press Association.) TIMAKU, May 31. Hon. W. Hall-Jones addressed his constituents to-night. The wot weather caused the meeting to be a smalj ore. Tho Minister spoke lor some time of the proofs of the continued prosperity of the colony, and the. causes thereof. He then devoted some time to a reply to Mr Masscy's criticisms of the administration, aftenvards speaking of the legislation intended for next session, as already announced by the Premie-. Mr IlalKJoncs mentioned that his Shipping and Seamen's Act was likely to be made the basis of. discussion by the Imperial Conference. A hearty vole of thanks and of confidence in the Minister and Government was carried with, applause.
