Taranaki Jockey Club.

A meeting of the Turunnki Jockey Club Committee was held on Friday evening. In the absence of Mr O. Samuel, Mr W. L. Newman was voted to the chair, and there were also present : Messrs A. X). Gray, Ab. Qoldwater, C. M. Lopper, D. O'Brien, I<\ Watson, and W. C. Wet»ton.: Leave of absence was grantcti to Messrs Samuel, Paul, King, and Sytnes. It was decided to disqualify Xorman Campbell for twelve months for having made statements when applying for a jockey's license which, in the opinion of the committee were wilfully fialse.,

F. Flynn, of Hawera. made application for the removal of the disqualification incurred by Mm and;, the mare Kathleen Mavoumeen for having taken part in unregistered meetings. It was decided to remove the dis* qualification, twelve months having expired since the date when the applicant last took part in unregistered racing. ■ •

A slniiiar application referring to A. Lucas, 0 f New Plymouth, and tho horse Simple Simon, was granted, the disqualification being removed as from June 1, when the period of 12 months will expire. Jockeys' licenses were granted to Jack O'C'onncll and llert Hussell, and a stable servant's permit lo l'« O'Hrien.

It was decided to "Wißc oft the forfeit of £4, owicg by It. Kingan, since deceased. Accounts' were passed for payment.
