A SERIOUS PROBLEM,

During the hearing of a case at I the Arbitration Court in which a master carpenter was fined for employing_ a lad as improver in terms | contrary to the award, the Inspector I of Factories! admitted that there was a serious problem confronting students of economics in Auckland, in the large and increasing number' of young men who were growing up without a trade or profession.
