PERSONAL NOTES.
The Premier, who is suffering from a cold, postponed his departure for the South for a few days. At Stratford on Monday evening Mr Massey said that meeting concluded the tour of the colony upon which he had been engaged. Miss Hilda Wilton, who received news the other day that she had,passod her examination as a qualified chemist, is a daughter of Mr M. H. Wilton, chemist, Wanganui. Mr E.M. Smith, M.H.H., presides, at tho entertainment at Fitzroy School on Wednesday given in celebration of the completion of the improvements to the building. He was accord-ed-a very hearty vote of thanks for his assistance in obtaining a grant of £2OO from the Department towards
