The Abattoir Report.
At Friday's meeting of the Works Committee the manager of the abattoir (Mr C. .1. Stone) reported during the month 81 ebws, 7-1 bullocks, 11 calv<*i, 618 sheep, ">7 lambs and 85 pigs were slaughtered, the fees amounting t Q £lO3 9s. One cow and one bullock had been condemned for tuberculosis, one sheep for pleurisy, and one lamb for hydalid cruris.
