ACCIDENTS.
(Per Proas Association.) CHMSTCHUHCH. May 8. George Grimwood, whilst cycling in Colombo Street this morning,, fell, a tramway engine passing over him, crushing his right foot and breaking his right collarbone. Ills right side was badly bruised, and his *end severely abrasod. Ills foot was amputated at the hospital, lie lies in a serious condition. Whilst working at tho bacon curing factory at Islington to-day William King slipped on a step and caught his eye on a hook. He bad eight stitches put in at tho hospital. WELLINGTON, May 9.
