INCREASED EXPORTS. (Per Press Association.) •AUCKLAND, May 1. The Customs returns for the Port of Auckland for April show that the net duties amounted to £52,391, as compared with '£50,238 for the same month of last yeai, an increase of £2158. Jleer duty amounted to £1607, as against £1415. The exports included the following Gold 15,5320z, valued at £62031. against £l-1,382075, valued at £50,382 last year, an incrca.se of £3 2,249 ; silver 93,0320z, valued at £9131, compared wilh 71,1100za valued at £7337, an increase o)\ £2091 ; butter, 2486 cwt valued at £ll,2iy, as against i 2112 cwt valued at £9904, an inj crease of £1306 ; cheese. 459cwt, [valued at £929, compared with 250 lewt, valued at £Bl2, an increase of ! £ll7.
