UNITED ACTION. (Received April 29, 1.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 28. The Premier recently opened negotiations with the other States* in respect to the rate of interest offeiv iug for Government securities and new issues thereof. Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania have replied favouring the suggestions, ami Sir Joseph AVard, on behalf of New Zealand concurred in the result. After Monday next the New South Wales Government will only issue Treasury bills at ;ij per c.nt. instead of lour. It is understood siuiilur action will bo taken in other States'.
