Organ Reaital.
As was but natural, the congregation at Mary's on Wednesday was very large, for it was recognised that under the skilful hands of Mr Mattghan Barnott, of Wellington, the now organ was certain to bo heard at its best. And such was the case. The programme had boon specially selected with a view to exhibiting the capabilities of the instrument and the ability of the organist, and those assembled wepe treated tp an exposition of music which will long remain in their memories'. The two Horns most appreciated were perhaps the "Pftgrim's March" and " Angels of Jesus." The Pastorale was another noteworthy item. The programme consisted of : Ohoro! song, (Wesley) : Pilgrim's March, from symphony in A minor, (Mendelssohn's), ' Tocpata in G "Irk Paradjsum," (Dubois), Fugue G minor (Ilaoh).
