RAILWAY SECTION OPENED.
(Per Press Association.) GISBOKNE, April i:i. Tho weather, though wot in th& morning, turned out beautifully lint for the ceremony of opening the Te Karaka section of the Gisbonte railway, and the affair passed off very successfully. Speeches were made [by the Hons, Halt-Jones. Carroll, and McGowan, and by local ixjjjivsentatives. Hon. Hall-Jones .said the line would be continued; he would give authority for that bofot'e he left. The Ministers left Te Kb raka for the Molvt in tho afternoon.
