The next general election, he said, must be fought out upon lines which will not prevent the Chambers of Coaumercc using their organisation to assist in securing the maintenance of a. proper interpretation of the constitution 'by opposing class legislation .which, if pursued, must inevita'bly hamper commercial and industrial progress, and involve that insecurity and lack of confidence which retards the iu. flow of capital and population. The .Labour Party, he declared, subordinates this fiscal issue and ah other considerations to securing their lighting platform. The Lalbour Party oilers an example in their organisation, in their methods, in their uniformity, in their definition, and in their programme, which might be well followed by those who opposed the lwolutionary und socialistic planks oC their platform..
