(Kc eivod April 7, 10.7 p.m.) CALCUTTK, April 7. An extraordinary reverberation', preceded the earthquake. The mountains and the heavens- appeared to sway for a minute. There wei"e frequent prolonged shocks, the worst
being experienced at Dharmsala, where fully 80 per cent, of the inhabitants were either killed or injured.
