Horses. —At the Durham Yards on Friday last ivc bad a large muster, with a good demand for draught!) and useful horses. Competition was keen. Heavy draughts sold from, £32 to £44 10s f, medium ditto, £22 to £36 5s ; hacks and light harness ditto £lO 10s to £l9 15s, weeds £2 8s to £5 10s. A gig realised £9, spring cart £ls 15s. At Warkworth on Wednesday, there was a small muster. Dairy cows sold from £3 10s to £G 15s, empty ditto £1 7s tid to £2 14s, grown stecrrf £5 5s lo £6 10s. Bivl at Newmarket rates. On Monday, at Clevedon, more than the advertised number of cattle came forward, and there was a large yarding of sheep. Dairy heifers sold from £4 5s to £5 7s Od, empty cows £1 9s to £2 lis, heifers £3 2a Gd to £4 ss, calves 15s to £1 lis. Sheep : Wethers 13s 8d to Kss, ewes 6s 6d to 14s 9d, lambs 6s 6d to 9s. The Junction Yards on Tuesday were fairly well filled with stock of all descriptions, which sold at latevalues. Dairy cows sold from £3 10s to £9 ss, heifers £4 5s to £7 2s 6d, calves 18s to £1 lis, empty cows £1 10s to £2 15s. There was an average yarding of beef, which sold at late rates. Fat .steers sold from £5 15s to £lO 12s (',(!, cows £3 10s- to £7 10s. Sheep.—The Newmarket Yards were well filled and sold at late values. Wethers sold from 14s 6d to £1 2s 9d, ewes 13s ©d to £l.
