PERSONAL NOTES.
Lord Kelvin, the eminent scientist, has undergone a serious operation. Mr Geo. Matheson, touring representative for Mr J. C. Williamson's Gilbert amt Sullivan Repertoire Opera Company, is tt t present in New Plymouth, n,aki% arrangements for their season on April 14 and 10. On Thursday, at Mr F. Brabant's residence, Waitara, the marriage of Miss Minnie Tatt- to Mr Lewis Trigger took place, the officiating minister being the Rev, J. J. Pendray. The bride was given away bv Mr Hrabant. After the ceremony, the guests, comprising a large numlwr of relatives on both sWcs, partook of afternoon tea.
