Oats.—The ■demand from shippers has absorbed most of thu feed offering locally, and as only a moderate quantity is coming forward urices arc firm, and for special lines slightly tetter prices are procurable. Wheat.—Millers are not disposed to operate largely at the opening rates of the season, and as manyowners are -anxious to <jMi't for immediate deli wry it is dillicult to find sale for all coming forward at late rates. Prime Tuscan is in most demand. Prime milling lis Id to 3s (id, medium to good 3s Id to 3s-."id, whole fowl feed 2s lOd to 3s, broken 2s 6d to 2s 2d, sacks extra. Ilarley.—New season's is now coming forward, and prime well threshed is readily taken at an advance on late- rates. Feed and milling are in good demand, prime malting 3s to 4s, medium 2s fid to 3s, feed 2s to 2s 3d. IiI.KNSIDE MAKKET, DI'NEWN, March 29.Fat cattle. —176 were yarded, about half being well finished bullocks, and the proportion of heifers, in good condition, was above the average. The number was scarcelyequal to requirements, and there was an advance of 10s to 15s per head. Best bullocks brought £8 to £9 10s, extra heavy and prime £lO 2s ttd, medium to good £5 10s to £7 15», best cows and heifers £(} to £7, light £3 to £5 10s. Fat sfieep.—Only 869 were penned, mostly good wethers'. In view of the small entry the sale opened Is Gd above last week, and the advance was maintained. Wethers 22s Gd to 24s Gd, (one pen of extra heavy 255-'), good wethers 19s 6d to 21s 6d, medium and light 17s to 19s Gd, best ewes up to 239 (id. Fat lunrbg.—93s were penned. Prices were a shade in advance of I hose obtaining at last week's sale, and the sale was brisk throughout.
