The Cup donated by Messrs Robinson Hros.. of distillery fame, to the North Turnnuki Cricket Association is now on exhibition at Mr J. Hennett's jeweller's shop. Th'e Cup is lurge and of handsome design, and is mounted in a manner symbolic of the national game. It ranks among the best trophies yet donated to sport in this district.

An interesting season's play is now nearing its conclusion. The premiership honours will rest with Inglewood, for although' 'there is still an uncompleted match with Cnrrington Road the result cannot aflcct the issue-. A committee meeting of the West End.Cricket Club wns held on Tuesday night. A deputation from the Irish 'l\ywn Club attended and pro- [ posed that thu club should join the West End Club. After discussion it wus agreul that it would be desirable for both clubs, us Hie Irinh Town Club would save the expense of providing n ground and plant, and the West End Club would obtain more Thursday players. A letter was received from the Warca Cricket Club, inviting the West End to play a match at Warca, but on account of the- season being nearlyover it wns decided to postpone the game until next season.
