HUE. PEASANTS KILLED. The Authorities anl the Catholics. FATHER JOHN WARNED BY REVOLUTIONARIES. (Received March 21, 9.25 p.ml) St. I'ETEUSIURU, March 24. A hundred and forty peasants men, women and children, quietly assembled in the highway at lvutno. V police patrol and a company of soldiers, without provcc.ition, fired, killing two and wounding fifty, of whom seven have died since. E-ievcr are dying. Genera l - MaksimofT attended the orthodox Roman Catholic Cathedral. This is the first time a Governor of Warsaw has been present at the the Roman service since 1831. He visited the Archbishop, and askei for, Catholic support in restoring order. Father John, of Kroustadt, hag keen warned to cease his propaganda agginst the revolutionaries. The authorities will protect him.'
