Queen Alexandra and Princess Victoria have proceeded to Lisbon.

The course of his studies at Woodhouse Grove was interrupted by Ihe return of the family; to New /■".ealand, and he completed his education by three years' residence at Wesley College (I'iincc Albert) Auckland, lie then settled down to agriculture life in the Waiikato, but the Ohiirch called him, and on the re-. opening of the Three Kings Institution in 1876, he entered as a theological student, having for his fellow students (he Hev. S. Lawry (expresidunt) and Hev. T. Fee. He was tirst appointed to Kumaru, and has in turn laboured at, Balclutlm, Momlngton. Gore, Masterton, Ashburton Sydenham,, Timaiu, and New Plymouth, where he is now stationed.
