There was no apprcc able difference in the attendance last evening, when the programme -went oil very well. Tho competition for the most prettily dressed boy or girl under 10 years attracted an entry of ten, the award g<omg to Master S. Brown, aged five son of Mr and Mrs Brown, of Buckley Terrace. An amusing contest was the liaHrjnmijng for boys. The novelty for this ovenjng will' be a show of dogs, Mr Rowley offering a prize of half a guinea and a dog collar for the best canine, of any breed, brought up for inspection. Tomorrow night a, farewell concert will be given. A variety of popular competitions should contribute largely to the success of the programme. * A beauty show for young ladies from 15 to 25 years of ngc will no doubt prove very interesting. Other contests will be waltzing, cake walk", accordeon playing, etc., and by reVfucs't another baby show will be promoted.
