: The monthly Hireling of the Egjnont Uoad Board was held on Saturday afternoon at the oflice of the secretary (Mr l\ 0. Morton.) There were present—Messrs V. Howe (chairman), J. Martin, F. Davy, H-. Martin, and F. Salway. A plan showing the Hursthouse road deviation was approved anil signed. The engineer (Mr T. (5. Sole) sent in eortificates showing the work done on Hursthouse road, £IBB being due to Bayley and Co. and £7O to H. O. Skelton. In regard to King road, £Bl 18s was due to Hay ley and Co. These and other accounts—Sasn and Door Factory £3 ss, John Hayes £4 la 3d, and Bishop Urou. £l3 2s 6d—were passed for payment.
