[ ROWLEY'S WAXWORKS* COMPANY i Another good "house" was registered at the Theatre Royal last I night on the third appearance of j| Rowley's Waxworks Company, The ,'show went with its usual vim, the ! audience keenly appreciating the diversified nature of the programme. Professor Hoxhall's unique electrical display was witnessed with intense interest, and the variety performance, abounding with mirth, songs, and specialties, was received with every mark of approbation. The waxworks figures, special views n nd other appurtenances continue to be a great attraction. An innovation last night was a mouth-organ competition. This was open ten allcomers, but only two aspirants braved the footlights, a man and a boy, the prize going, by (the almost unanimous wish otf the audience, to the latter, Master Crowes, A special feature will be a matinee for ladies and children, commencing at 2 , o clock this afternoon, when variety will be lent to the proceedings by cpnipu'rtions in singing, recitations, skipping, etc., for girls The man- I agement announce a chance of programme for the evening.
