The New Zealand I timber exhibits at St. Louis Exhibi J tion were sent on to Liverpool, where | they were reinforced by an exhibit sent through the Industries and Commerce Department of this colony by tho Auckland Veneer nnd Timber Co. (export agents, Patterson and Co.) Tho principal samp-; les sent by the company were a figured rimu door with mottled puriri panels, and a series of veneers of the. following timbers (Mottled and plain kauri, totara burr, mottled and wavy kauri, honeysuckle, pohutukawa, maungeao, silver pine, and cowai. The timber and veneer exIhibits have been sent on to the Indian and Colonial Exhibition, Crystal Palace.
