There was splendid weather for the , Futurity Stakes, which resulted : Gladsone (Bardon) 1, Emir (Lewis), Dnrgai (Wheeler), and Billingsgate (Smith), dead heat for second place. Nino started. The betting was 2to 1 on Gladsome, 8 to 1 against Billingsgate, 10 to 1 Emir. At the far turn Attitude and Amazon wero together three lengths in front of Gladsome. The. latter raced td the front at the railway from Dcmas and Dargai. Attitude and Gladsome led into the straight, Dargai following, with Billingsgate outside. Gladsome came on, winning easily, but tho judge could not separate the next three. Time, lmin 29isec.
