OFFICERS OF SQVADRON ENTERTAINED. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. The Admiral und oflicers oif Ihe ,warships attended a gulden party this afternoon, given by the ladies' branch of the Navy League at Sir 'Joseph Ward's residence. I For this evening a concert at the ,Town Hall had been umingid >.y the League, and a large number of 'bluejackets and marines landed, with Ike band from the flagship, and !marched to the concert hall. There jwas a great crowd awaiting admission, but the whole place was wrapped in darknesfc, owing to a breakdown in tits electric lighting, apparur jlus. There was a long wait until the defects had been restored. The peojplc were then admitted and the Adjmiralund his escort having returned, the concert proceeded.
