An American Case.
MILLIONAIRE INFATUATED WITH A NEGRESS. (Received Feb. 23, 9.46 p.m.) ' " NEW YORK, Feb. 23. The action by John R. Halt, millionaire, against the negress Hannah Elias, to recover £137,000, alleged to have been obtained by blackmail, was heard yesterday in the New York Supreme Court. The rase was dismissed, the Court holding that I'latt being infatuated with the woman had given her property worth £200,000.
