(Per Press Association.) FEILDIXG, Feb. 22. The lirst A. and P. Show was held to-day in perfect weather, the attendance being large. Mr Seddon spoke at some length on the prosperity of the district,also congratulating the Association on the result of its efforts. Mr Butler, the London manager of tihe Colonists' Land and Loan Corporation, was also a visitor.
| The strpngest. fea'tures of the Show were the dairy cattle and horses, tooth being of good 'quality. The following are the results Dairy cowproducing largo.St quantity of but Vrfat : J. Soandyns, Jlolstein, test 6.6, 1; C F. Hornby, 4.3, 2. Dairy heifer: N. Gorton 1, Mrs Caldwell 2. Over 24 and under 33 months : C. H. Bennett 1, A. Dernier 2. Dairy heifer lover 18 and under 24 : Mrs Ivirton 1, A.; Dormer 2. Three crossbreds under 18 months: Samlilands J, Mrs jKirton 2. Horses (draughts)) : Mure !>rith 'foal at foot : E. Short. Heavy gelding : G. A. Gamnian and Co.'s Sir Joseph. There was a good display of fat sheep. Five wethers : W. Mills 1 and 2. Lambs', James ] KwightThe freezing classes were strongly represented, but there were only a few pigs and dogs. The competitions were well congested;. In the driving class l H. M. |Kowc's Tongapahuka scored the 1 prize. The best laidy driver was Mrs ;Robertson.- Pony jumping : N. 1 Green'a Paddy Dear 1. The Victoria Cross* competition was l won by Sergeant Ranby, Feilding Mounted I liilles. Sergeant Macdonald, Alexandra Hides, being second. Hunters : (<• F. Moore's Mingon 1, L.
