PERSONAL NOTES.
Mr .1. C. Maddison, architect, of Christchurch, is at present in town, after a visit to the lately erected Waiara freezing works. We undestand that, after returning to Christchurch, Mr Maddison shortly proceeds to Pakipaki, near the East Coast, where he has business in connection with the erection of further freezing works for Messrs T. Horthwick and Sons, the contract for which has already been let.
