At the Chamber of Commerce yesterday afternoon the members foregathered oil an occasion of particular interest, namely, to glive tangible proof of their appreciation of -the services rendered 'to the district by Mr Chevy Chong, and to as-k Ills acceptance of a memento cf their esteem in' the shape of a purse of sovereigns.
