On Mr Soliwood calling to hi* ' wife for his gun the intruders homed iatoly blow out the light and jumped over tho counter, scattering jars and other articles in all directions. Getting outside they sprang into a trap and drove of. The burglars had burst open tile front door with a jemmy, and before commencing ojjerations bed emptied three bottles of lemonade. All that was missed was about Ba, Which was in the till. The thieves apparently had not time to tampef with the stamp and cash boxes, • where a considerable amount of cash was kept.
