Blacks Attack a Camp. A Han Hnrdered. (Iteceived J sin. 27. 10.22 p.m.) I'OUT DARWIN, .lun. 27. A party of blacks attacked the Hradshaw experimental cotton plantation camp at (ioyder River. Four Chinese were speaivd, one being seriously wounded, und tlm camp was looted. Another tragedy is reported eastwards of the Cadells vNtraits. A man named SpencVjr, who had served a sentence of ten years for the murder of a blackfellow, was engaged in trading. lie slept ashore, and/ was found speared through the body, He had also been brained with a tomahawk.
