ADMINISTRATION OF BUILDING FUNDS. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 25. The remarks recently credited to the Minister for Education (Mr Beddon) deprecating the administration by Education Boards of building funds were tho subject of coaaneatat to-day's meeting of tho Auckland Education Board. A resolution protesting against the Minister's romarks, and complaining of continued delay on the part of the department in answering the board's request for moneys for building purposes, was rejected in favour of an amendment that the board communicate with the Minister asking if the statements credited to him were correct.
