A CITY IN DARKNESS.
REPORTED STRIKE OF CHEMISTS' ASSISTANTS.; (Received Jan. 25, 9.4 p.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, Jan. 25. Military electricians in St. Petersburg manned some of the electric lighting works and restored light yesterday. Later on the suspension of work at the Belgian Company's c-ntral station, lui Juo st of the City's dcctric light, plunged the fashionable Bolskaia and Morskaia thoroughfares into darkness. Ino chemists' assistants have struck.
