Alleged Misappropriation.
Slattery Remanded to Sydney. (Heceived Jan. 2-1, 10.10 p.m.) ADKLAIDK, .lan. 24. The Hon. Thomas Michael Slattery, M.L.C., of New South Wales, wbo was arrested .yesterday on n charge of "converting to his own use £6OOO belonging to Mrs Scanlan, n legatee in the Tyson estate, hns been remanded to appear at Sydney. The accused states that he catne to Adelaido to meet Mrs Scanlan on her arrival from England, and has expressed much surprise nt the action taken.
