FEDERAL REVENUE RETURNS. MELBOURNE, Jan. 21. Sir George Turner (Fideral Premier) has issued a statement showing that the Federal revenue for the first half of the tjiscai year was £5,805,000, a decrease of £30,000 on the last corresponding half, and the expenditure £2,096,000, a decrease of £91,000. The surplus returned to the States was £3,780,000, an increase of £41,000.
