ALLEGED WOOL STEALING.

(l'er Tress Association.) ASHIH'RTON,. Jan. 19. At the Magistrate's Court Oliver Spicer, Edward and Percy Eden were charged on three informations with stealing wool in December last at Westerilcld and Windermere. The charge against I'crcy Eden was withdrawn on the application of the police, while Edward Eden and Oliver Spicer were committed to take their trial at the Supremo Court at Timaru on February 7th. Bail was allowed, each accused in £2OO on his own recognisance and two sureties of £IOO each.
