ACTION BY THE LOCAL BOARD. At the Education Board moeting on Thursday Mr Mackay asked whether there had been oiiy word sent from the Premier regarding the overcrowding of the Wuitara school. The Chairman : No. Mr Mackay : I have here a long report referring to the matter. Mr Mackay then rend an article giving the same information as appearod in a recent :isstie of the Daily News, referring- to the telegram despatched to tlie Premier by the Tlmaru Education Bound protesting against his utterances at Waltarii to the liability of education hoards:. Mr Mackay moved that ia c o py of the report (,je sent to the Premier and that he be asked if h L . is correctly reported. Mrs Dougherty Seconded. Mr Faull supported the resolution OS it would place the board in u position to follow up the matter. lhe motion was cairricd annniinously.
