Plan to be Prepared. At the Education Board meeting on Thursday the chairman (Mr Wade) said „ fresh start should be made to establish a technical school in New Plymouth. lie was uoi in lavour of an expensive school, such as was previously suggested, but he advocated one similar to ! the Stratford school. Mr Mackay asked 'whether there was n ny money to start uilh. The Chairman replied that the board would have to go to -the (lovermuent. They had the necessary land and only required money for building. Mr Faull moved that the architect and inspector bo instructed to prepare a plan for u school suitable for local requirements, to be submitted to the next meeting of the board. He did not agree with the proposal to have divided authority. Thn motion, seconded bv Mrs Dougherty, was enrried unanimously.
