Stimulating the Industry. LONDON, Jan. I<>. The firm of Swan and Hunter, of Newcastle, with Halifax capitalists, ar<* forming a company and have established shipbuilding plant at Halifax. The* Dominion Government ha 4 promised a subsidy of six dollars per ton on ships constructed in Canada, the city of Halifax is offering a bonus of £OO,OOO dollars and the Provincial Government a bonus of 100,000.
